16" Deep Rim Tuneable Bodhrán (Rosewood)
This is a 16inch Rosewood Deep Rim Tunable Bodhrán, the same as the Deep Rim Tunable but the frame is made with rosewood instead.
My many years designing and building bodhráns have lead me to produce a deep rim bodhrán that has a beautiful sound and an unparalleled aesthetic. My trademark tuning system allows for flexible volume control so you can have the perfect tone every time. Being able to tune a bodhrán is a basic need for any serious player. The weather and humidity on this planet is unpredictable at the best of times and a natural skin can react to humidity. Owning a tuneable allows you to have control over the tension of the skin on your bodhran. This will mean your bodhran is not too high pitched or too soft when you go to play in a session. I have designed it with both a T-bar and a cut-out for even more playing comfort. Like I always say, if you have a quality structure and a carefully treated goat skin, you have a bodhrán for life.
